DEAN ROBERT E. TAYLOR, M.D., PHD PORTRAIT UNVEILING

The latest decanal portrait was unveiled at the Howard University College of Medicine on Wednesday, January 28. The portrait of Dean Robert E. Taylor, M.D., PhD, Dean of the College of Medicine from 2008-2011 and Interim Dean from 2005-2008 honored Dr. Taylor's service to Howard University and his place in Howard's history. A reception followed the unveiling, where remarks were given by President Wayne A.I. Frederick, Interim Dean Edward Cornwell, Vice Dean Sheik Hassan, Ms. Jeanette Gibbs and Dr. Taylor himself. The portrait will hang on the 5th floor, beside other decanal portraits.
